10-Year Limited Warranty
Diamond Surfaces USA warrants to the initial purchaser a 10-year limited warranty from date of purchase. Warranty is not transferable, and expires if the product is transferred or resold. This warranty insures Diamond Surfaces products are free of manufacturing defects only. The user must verify and test the suitability of any information or products for his or her specific application. Merchantability or fitness or usage for a particular purpose is not assured.
This warranty does not cover any associated costs including but not limited to the repair or replacement of surrounding edifice (walls, ceiling, floor), hardware, or fixtures, or labor, installation, and shipping expenses. We highly recommend that you inspect your Diamond Surfaces USA materials before using them to help eliminate unnecessary efforts and expenses.
Diamond Surfaces USA reserves the right to repair, refund, or replace the original material. The defective product shall be repaired or replaced with a product that is available at the time of replacement or repair or refunded, at Diamond Surfaces USA discretion. The product must not have moved from its original place of installation for this warranty to be retained. Product installation completed by an ISSFA certified or equivalently certified individual and a purchase receipt showing date of original purchase are required for warranty coverage.
This warranty does not apply to damage arising from any of the following:
Normal wear and tear including stains, scratches, water spots, discoloration due to long term exposure to UV light, or burns
- Abuse, misuse, or accidents
- Alterations or repair
- Chemical abuse
- Acts of nature
- Failure of a substructure support
- Improper installation, including improper adhesive, grout, or caulk or failure or dissatisfaction with appearance of joints or seams or dissatisfaction with finish
- Improper maintenance, including improper grout or caulk
- Thermal abuse
All efforts are made to identically match sheet colors. However, due to the processes needed, colors can vary from run to run, from sheet to sheet, and from samples. Color is not guaranteed.
Darker colors require more maintenance to keep the appearance. Darker colors will show scratches and imperfections more readily than lighter colors and should be used with caution in areas with moderate to high use. Only experienced certified fabricators should attempt to work with darker colors.
Diamond Surfaces USA should be kept away from heat, and heat barriers should be used to separate Diamond Surfaces USA from heat sources. Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 150 degrees may cause damage to the material. Thermal abuse will void this warranty.
No other expressed or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are made by this warranty except for those expressly provided herein. Under no circumstances shall Diamond Surfaces USA be liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase, a defect in, or use or inability to use this product, or for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which will vary from state to state. Federal law does not permit the disclaimer or modification of implied warranties arising under applicable state law for consumer products. However, any of such implied warranties shall expire at the earlier of the expiration of the stated warranty or the expiration of the period for the implied warranty required under state law. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
